A "Weekend
Getaway" only 45 minutes from Perth. Close enough to arrive on a Friday eveningto
recharge your batteries after a busy week and depart late Sunday morning. All you need to
bring is your food & towels (a torch also comes in handy).Four converted railway
carriages (three doubles and one family) have all the comforts for a great holiday and are
equipped with air-cond (cooling), heaters, electric blanket, kettle, toaster, cutlery,
crockery, fridge, microwave and outdoor BBQ facilities. All carriages are strategically
positioned for privacy and a superb scenic outlook. |

| A seperate carriage has been
converted to an ablution block comprising 2 showers and 2 toilets. There is also a shower
in the family carriage. The setting is a very scenic 26 acres of rural property with a semi-permanent creek, nestled in the rolling hills of the Serpentine National Park. Enjoy bushwalking, bird life, wildflowers or bring your mountain bike (easy access to Forest tracks). Some nearby attractions include; Serepentine Dam, Serpentine Falls, Gooralong Park & Walk Trails, Langford park, Jarrahdale Tavern, Dot's Tea Garden, Tubulgum Farm, Turner Cottage, Serpentine Wood Shack, Golden Ponds (fishing), Millbrook Winery, Rockingham Beach. |
